Joyriide Detailed: G35 Coupe
Yet again, another basic wash, clay, and wax. Striving for that full detail, I did the best I could and went a little overboard.
Exterior Gold Class Claymagic Blue Meguiars #21 V2 Zaino Z16 Interior Meguiars APC Poorboys Natural Look Poorboys Leather Stuff Engine Wenol Metal Greased Lighting CD-2 *Note- White splatter on right-side fenderwell is cement. God please give me a clue as to how to take care of this without damaging the plastic.

I know what you mean joy. I have been getting alot of basic detail jobs that are in need of a paint correction, but everyone want to wait for summer. I cant blame them though, I would want to make it last as long as possible as well..
And I completly understand about going overboard. I just want to give a finished product that it to my likeing. When people want a quick wash and wax sometimes it just is not enough and I am not ok with putting my name on that. So I do more work for the money to ensure a product that I am happy with. It sucks, but in the long run I think its the right thing to do.

lol, the clocks on infiniti's are so unnecessary. and why would u want a small analog clock in the car anyway. reading data should be quick and simple while you're driving.
I think infiniti loses points for having such a pretentious clock. watever, I don't own one anyway.

hey looks nice.
quick question for the engine part. what you use is basically a degreaser right? doesnt it collect a lot of dust? i've always wanted to try it but i was afraid that it'd collect so much dust afterwards. i'd love to get some tips for cleaning engine bay. thanks! |

No. It actually does a really good job of repelling dust. After cleaning and degreasing, I normally use a waterbased dressing, let it sit, then buff off any excess. Doing this lets leaves the surface dry to the touch. In this case though, I used CD-2 Engine Detailer, which is acrylic based. When buffed off, it also leaves a surface which is dry to the touch.
