Bluetooth quality sucks. Can it be fixed?
I have a 2008 fully loaded e90 with CCC iDrive and latest firmware. I paired my iphone 4 (IOS 4.3.2) without issues and everything connects fine.
My problem is that the audio quality SUCKS!!!!! People frequently complain of echo, which I can hear as well. Many also say I sound underwater and I also hear them as if underwater. I don't know if it is a signal issue but it seems to have gone away. Is there any way to swap out components to get better sound? A new ULF or microphone perhaps? Does the CIC iDrive (with hard disk) sound any better? I am considering a swap.

It's iPhone os.
Some are more buggy with different models. 4.3.2 is the newest so you'll have to wait for a revision. |

Is your iPhone connected to the car with any wires? Either the headphone to your aux or the cradle cable. If so, make sure the iPhone is using the Bluetooth.
I hook up my headphone jack to the aux and the phone will occasionally switch to the mic on the phone instead of the bt.
