Chrome brake springs
Planning on painting my front and rear calipers gloss black and, since the springs bends and the paint won't hold on them very well, I would like to replace the stock spring for chrome ones.
Do you know where I can get those ?

I think you would have to get them custom platted chrome... but why would you want to do that? chrome can flake after a while if its not done good and it also gets pitted and can rust if you dont clean them every time they get dirty. how often do you realistically see your self cleaning your springs to keep them nice and shiny? IMO dont get chrome springs.

No, I wanted some already plated w/waranty.
But I think I'll stick with my 1st idea of simply buffing + powdercoat the original ones.

It is STRONGLY encourged that NO brake part is ever chromed. During the chroming process, metal goes thru a process called Hydrogen Embrittlement.
Simply put, the metal will undergo a molecular transformation and will be substantially weaker than needed for safe use. Parts can (and I have seen it) fail. Better off powdercoating or polishing (aluminum) any brake components. No company with any sense would ever warrant brake components that are chromed.

Job went well last weekend.
Got calipers and springs sanded and painted Gloss Black. Love the result. So ... no chrome for me. I've seen someone on another post installing chromed springs ... Oh well.
