that particular mh is $260,000

we plan to cover these united states, over scenic byways, moving just a little each day, but hanging around when it's interesting; friends and relatives on both coasts who will get a visit from the Big Taxi, but it will be a year or two in between visits

$36,020 is the residual value per lease agreement, which can be paid at the lease end and you will own the car.

The "payoff" as of today is a figure that includes that residual, all remaining lease payments, plus approximately $1600 that seems to be an amount BMW would have earned as a benefit for the full lease term. It therefore makes no dollars or sense to buy the car today.
