REV9 V2 vs VRSF 5 inch Step - FMIC

Looking at these 2 items. Anyone got the pros and cons?
  • Considering how cleanly they install (limited trim and use stock pipe?)
  • How it effects performance

If REv9/Godspeed/Ebay intercooler? No...you get what you pay for.

Just get the VRSF.

Thanks Jeff - I had great luck with Godspeed with my A3. Exactly the APR dealer compared it side by side with APR IC and the Godspeed was a straight knockoff. We were surprised. Different car and not sure how they do in the BMW market.

I tested it against the 7" VRSF and at 22PSI, E40 tune they were within 10* F from each other at the end of the run.

How fast was the cool down time? That's a huge factor.

VRSF 5" should perform slightly better. Not sure about Rev 9 but the VRSF install is very simple and straightforward. We sell a ton and never had any fitment issue.
If you decide to get REV9, make sure to post a review.
Good luck

I don't want to deal with fitment issues. Still waiting for my month to pass. Currently traction might be my biggest issues with just the PPK and JB+.

Garage List
The Rev9 won't fit without trimming, anything over 5" is going to require cutting. If you're going to trim, you should be comparing our 7" to their 6".

Trying to resuscitate this thread...Does the Rev9 fit the N54 e93?

Any feedback on install?

I see they are selling on Amazon for $280 with free shipping and I was considering this or the Phoenix racing

Word, if it fits the e92 then I'm all good. Just pulled the trigger and purchased from GTRacers on Amazon. Having my front bumper repainted so going to install it then. Let you know how it goes.
