Breast Augmentation Advice

I was looking at the site originally posted which shows a variety of different kinds of implants and insertions with doctors across the nation. Also, I was appalled by how many of them were happy with the results when they looked ridiculously stupid.

Well of course one doctor may be very good at what he does, but regardless he would never show his botched up jobs on his website.

Because they're self-conscious and feel that having larger breasts is the easiest way to overcome this.

Chopped off? You mean if I was born with smaller breasts? I have an A cup now and I'm fine with it.

Yeah but it isn't just society because many women choose NOT to get breast implants, so it is also the emotional strength of the woman. Obviously if society dictated that women have small breasts then there would be women getting breast reductions instead, but that doesn't mean that all women would choose to do so.

I stated in another thread that restoring your body to its original state is not too much of a problem with me, although I don't think that I would choose to do it. I can't know unless it happened.

I see nothing wrong with plastic surgery. Its great that people are able to augment physical aspects of themselves that they are not completely happy with. Of course, there are pitfalls...but screening out should be the responsibility of the plastic surgeon---to provide medical surgery to the right candidate patient...and not to just to whom is willing to shell out the cash.

To me no different than getting your teeth fixed, hair coloring, nails put on, bikini wax and so forth. Yes implants are a more invasive procedure and carries more risk but still all of the rest do nothing more than improve appearance to some degree. I have been in Physical Therapy/medic for the past 12 years so maybe I'm immune to these things.

Getting your teeth fixed as far as braces has health benefits and it's covered by insurance. I got braces because my mom didn't and she developed TMJ and had other problems because of it.

Implants are covered by insurance. Mental health is covered as well.
