It's a modified face from the factory HU. It has 2 clips on the sides.

Gotcha. Couldn't tell from what you originally stated. Should work just fine.

i got the bracket for the climate control and im searching for a good double din, nothing too expensive i was thinking an android or something with wifi and apps and navi of course. by the way what types of things can be displayed on the top screen? do you need to use a remote to turn on the top one or does it turn on when the bottom is on? sorry with the questions i just need info so i can get this done soon. thanks for the inspiration. i was about to sell my dash until i saw what you did.

ive been researching since i plan on doing this after i mount my wheels.
most double din units now a days can have a dual display...like navi on the unit and the other screen u can play a movie or something. im sure every unit varies but i essentially want to be able to have navi on one screen and be able to control my music/movie on the other. still on the wall if i want the navi in the dash or the double din. im also going to go with one of those dynavin type deal (but a diff model) simply because it looks more OEM. |

Sorry. I no longer have a double din. I sold it and I am using a single din temporarily until I do my next project.

10" drivers in kickpanels enclosures? That's a bit insane. You already have a trunk sub, why do you need more sub bass coming from the front? I can see wanting more midrange in kickpanels, that is basically what I have. Great job on the double din dash conversion.
