Had a 335xi loaner and theres one thing I missed about the 335d

The fuel economy! Normal commute for me is 13 miles with 10.5 miles of stop and go traffic and 2.5 on the interstate at 50 mph. Not the best for fuel economy. On my 2011 335d I get on average (per fuelly) 27.0MPG, and the 335xi was 18.33MPG. I didn't think it would be that big of a difference, but certainly glad I have my diesel.

as much as I LOVE my
diesel and it's mileage .. I do miss the 6800rpm shifts and the screaming engine ... seems the diesel does the same deed in a much more relaxed an nonchalant state. nice, but definitely different.

Took a friend for a ride a couple of days ago who used to work with HG Motorsports here in SD, and is used to 700HP Evo's, STI's, etc. He was floored at how strong the my d pulled, even when not under WOT...he was still wearing a smile today when I talked to him about it.

That being said, if they choose not to bring something comparable to the states next MY, I will be buying some sort of M car.

Are you giving up the D after getting the M? If so, why?
