I think I can safely say that the BMW PE with secondary cat delete is the absolute perfect exhaust setup for our cars. You can hear all the BMW PE goodness (gurgles, pops, and all) from inside the cabin. With windows down, it's a beautiful sound, especially when really getting on the gas. The car exhaust really opens up and screams when driving aggressively -- compared to pre-secondary cat delete in which the exhaust sound would get drowned out by the wind. I was taken for a ride in my car and sat in the passenger seat and it's still fairly quiet from that side. Also, I still don't sense any drone when cruising on the highway, but you'll hear a nice exhaust grunt when you give it a little gas.

Guys, this is the perfect exhaust setup for our cars and serves so well as a daily driver exhaust. It can be really aggressive and loud when you want it to be, and it won't drone when cruising. Also note that this still sounds like the original BMW PE that we love, but it's made louder so we can hear it and love it more! This is by far one of the best things I've ever done with my car!
If anyone wants to see anything on video, feel free to let me know. I'll make a video of requests when I have the time.

Available in HD!

I like how our engines sound sort of like a turbo fan (jet) engine when the rev is falling.. Kind of a high pitched sound. I never noticed it on other cars before.

There's more interior cabin noise, but still no drone when cruising!

No performance changes, but I don't think it reduces back pressure since the exhaust still pops (which to my understanding is caused by back pressure)

I'll post up a drive by video with better audio. I was using the built in mic of my 5D2 for this quick vid, but I'll do the revs again in addition!

I don't remember what RPM's I hit, but I wasn't on the gas hard. For the revs, I think I hit around 6k RPM. For the take off, I think I shifted around 5k RPM.

Will removing the secondary cats have any negative effects? Such as failing emission, voiding warranties, loss of power?
