BMS DCI question
I installed the DCI and i thought it was a snap until i tried to fit the one by the firewall. Not so easy took me a few tries since i was by myself.
Anyway, i can hear the whoosh sound which is normal but as soon as i step on the gas about 2k it is super noticeable. I am thinking ok normal but at 2500-3500 the car seems to fall on its face. almost if there is to much air and it can’t get out of its own way. Is that normal? Could i have knocked something loose that I don’t know about? Even if the intake was not air tight it still should not be falling on its face should it? Does the ECU take awhile to adjust? |

Whatever your issue it is it probably isn't the intake causing it. Even if you ran no intake at all (not reccomended at all, but theoretically) you won't have any issues with how the car is boosting.

I dont think so but I can check and pull them out and put them back in and see if that does anything. I will also check the connection as well

As mentioned above, you only installed filters, with or without them won't hurt anything. However, anything else vacuum or boost related that was touched may effect performance.
This car does take a few pulls to get everything sorted out, it might just be coincidence or an indication of a different problem. Is the car tuned? |

i have seen odd running issues if the cones are not put on the addaptor coupler correctly, too far in or not far enough, there is a mark on the cone where the end of the coupler should line up so the velocity flare works correctly

Well went at lunch and fished around and the diverter valve came off
Replaced it and secured the grey screws and seems fine I'm a dumb ass for not rechecking everything
