Thanks to e90 post

I'm not a regular poster, but just wanted to thank this forum and all who sail in her, for providing great info and good laughs throughout my 330i ownership, which ended today.

After 4.5 years of owning the magnificent 330i, I decided to trade in to a boxster 987s which is pretty immense. However, I will miss the 330i a lot. Only a water pump at 100k , the rest just replaceables. Sadly at 130k, all I could get for her on a 55 plate was 3.5k, which is a sin.

So big up e90 post and all those who take the trouble to post to help others in their ownership. I'm sure I will be back one day, when the 987s engine blows up.

Thanks all again.

All the best with your new one. Seems cheap for your 330 but maybe a sign of the times with running costs and all that.

Stick around fella!

I can't believe the valuation on the 330!! Trade in price?!? Surely it was worth 5 or so at the very least!

cheers chaps. yeah a trade in price. he has it up for 5k, so will probably get 4-4.5 for it. The alloys were kerbed and a few dings here and there and was a low spec 55 plate se, but with black sports leather and sports steering.

Anyways some pics of the new arrival. have to say this thing is immense in its handling and fast enough for me. Anyone looking for a car under 15k should deffo have a drive of these.

Nice move on the boxster, they are a fantastic car and make a glorious noise when pressing on.

I tried to buy one but I'm just a little too tall to fit in comfortably
