ALUFELGEN Wheels | CSL & SF-71 Group Buy #2
UK Group Buy #2 Details and Information We`ll need a total of 10 participants for this pricing. Pricing in USD. Please find all the details below! USD/GBP Exchange rate: 1.58 as of 4/12/2012 7:00 PM ESTAvailability 3-Series CS7: Metallic Silver Titanium Gunmetal Sports Gunmetal Hyperblack Matte Black Pricing: Pricing for our CS7 would be as follows: ALUFELGEN CS7 Retail Pricing: USD$999 ALUFELGEN CS7 Group Buy Price: USD$799 Delivery Time, Freight, Import Duties and VAT: Delivery Time: Vessel transit time is usually 12 days. Freight: From our previous GB, the shipping cost was approx. $US87.50 per set or $875.00 for all the wheels. Please understand this amount could be a bit higher due to oil pricing. Currently waiting for freight quote. Customs Duties: Cost of goods sold: 799 Freight cost = 87.50 Total cost of Goods Sold= 799 + 87.50 = 886.5 Customs Duty is 3% (based on UK Tarif #8708701010) = 886.5 * 0.03 = 26.59 VAT: VAT, is 20% of Total Cost including all fees for import, custom clearance, handling, etc. We are assuming a total of $400 in custom clearance (currently waiting for confirmation) for all 10 participants. So $40 per participant. VAT = 886.5 + 26.59 + 40.00 = 953.09 x 20% = 190.6 Total fees: Total charges for freight, duties, VAT and fees = 87.50 + 26.59 + 40 + 190.6 = 344.69 Final Group Buy Pricing: Total cost per set for GB participants including all charges is = 799 + 344.69 = USD$1,143. 69 or £721.00 per set delivered to the UK! In comparison, if you were to purchase the wheels as a single set, the cost would be Wheels: $999 + Freight: $350 + Duties: $40.47 + VAT: $277.89 + Fees: $200.00 = Total Cost: USD$1867 or £1177.31 This Group buy is offering a total savings of USD$723.67 or £456.36 per set! This price is dependent on the freight quote. As soon as I receive the final freight quote I`ll update the final pricing but it shouldn't change by much. Please add 3% for Paypal payments. We must ship on batches of 6 sets per pallet. We need a central hub where we can send all the wheels for distribution. Any volunteers? I hope this shows our intentions to make it up to you guys. Checking our records our previous GB vessel left on a Friday 13th So we`ll make sure we avoid that date this time around! If interested, add your name to the list as follows: Name, size/model/finish, vehicle. 1. ALUFELGEN, 19" CS7 Silver, E92 335 2. Big_Ads, CS7 Hyper Black, E92 335 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Looks a decent offer to me, perhaps it could be enhanced by an assurance from the seller of what they will do if things go wrong, how long it will take them to respond to emails, how long to ship replacement wheels should there be a problem, will there be carriage on replacements etc.
Bascially just answer all the potential questions and issues and give the UK buyers a lot of comfort in their purchase. |

I've got an E90 in titanium silver, can't decide which coloured alloys would best suit my car, would you please be able to post up some pics of the alloys in all of the different colours, would you do a package deal with the tyres ? Thanks in anticipation

Can't imagine it would make sense for them to do tyres, the carriage costs would wipe out savings. Could maybe arrange a GB on tyres with a UK seller for those that need tyres.

Hello. I am very much interested in this GB but I think I prefer the SF-71's instead. Are they included in this GB? If so, could you please give a price breakdown for those as well?
I would have offered to be the central location for this GB but I just do not have a garage or storage space and I don't think the wife would appreciate 10 sets of alloys sat in the middle of the living room! |

I now Alufelgen have had a lot of stick on these boards recently, but I have to say that is a cracking deal.
If I had £800 burning a hole in my pocket I'd be on this like a shot.. someone buy me some? ;( Last edited by BGM; 04-13-2012 at 11:10 AM.. |

£720 delivered to the UK is an excellent price if all the issues are ironed out.
I did a personal import last year and it cost me over £1000, although they are definately worth that. |

As my comment in the other thread, I do think these wheels look great and are a good deal therefore are tempting BUT concerns and issues have put me off. Maybe another time in the future but as per my post in the previously deleted thread I reckon a good UK distributor is the only way forward.
And who could support a poster who deletes their own thread just because of a few issues being raised, thats running away in my book. |

I must say, they look excellent on your car.
It may be totally subjective feeling, however they feel very light compared to MV3s. I guess price is excellent for serious buyers, however putting rubber on them can be heavy on your pocket.

I'm in for this one if we can get another 9.
I have already been in contact about getting these shipped to Scotland and this is a significant saving as the Guys at Alufelgen say! Big_Ads, CS7 Hyper Black, E92 335 |

I will be adding my name to this list later this evening, once I've had a good look and decided which colour to go for.
Have we had a volunteer for the centralised shipping address yet? |
