Oh SNAP! Amazing what this motor holds, this is crazy stuff...great work Shiv

Would you run out of fuel down low if you upped boost earlier? I know piggies had issues before in richening AFRs early on in the RPMs...i guess you'll be able to show that with a smaller turbo

Fantastic work.

Really looking forward to getting out from warranty on my 1M so I can go wild.

Ideally, I'd like a small(er) turbo with quick spool-up and a broad, flat torque curve that could run on 93 octane with no meth.

Not really concerned about peak #s as much as a nice fat area under the curve.

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but what model turbo is this?

Also, will this void the warranty....oh, and what spring should i get?

How's this running to 22.5psi on the stock 2.5bar tmap sensor? 2.5bar - 1bar for atmospheric you get 1.5bar measurable boost at sea level, so 21.7-21.8psi...did you already plug in a 3bar?

Oh, and would you mind posting the datalog and AFR trace...

This is incredible. Way to go Shiv! I know many will disagree but whats the point in going any further? 600-700 is more than anyone needs. I feel like its at the point where the reward to risk trade-off is sketchy. Although I know the procedes is doing a great job of keeping things safe I just feel going any further will cause stuff to wear faster and cause mechanical failure.... But I could be wrong!

Well what's the point of going over 400whp or 500whp or stock for that matter? There's a point and that's why there's this community in the first place..

He has over 82K who cares. Besides the limits of this motor has to be pushed in real life as opposed to theoretical limitations.

I'd like to see a retune and the resulting graph where boost is ramped up normally, ie. as quick as possible. I understand the reasoning behind ramping it up like a NA engine (drivetrain protection), but to me, that's not the point of a big turbo. By nature, the bigger turbo should hit full spool much later than the little twins, but still come on hard enough that you get rocked into the back of your seat. That's a high WTQ/WHP big turbo experience for me... not a slow gradual increase where peak boost hits at 6500 RPM.

If snapping axles or destroying tranny gears is the concern, then I'd say this size turbo isn't optimal for the car as a whole, despite the N54 being able to manage it without issue.

Ι think shiv said in another topic that the sensor is plugged in just after the turbo and before the cooler.
The intercooler pressure drop off is around 0,7-0,8 psi ,so the tmap sensor is reading arround 21.7-21.8 .

Is that right?

Ridiculous

I did not think this motor would handle this much on stock internals...

With race gas, you guys might be touching 700 WHP. What is the PSI limit of this turbo
?

Great job Shiv and company!

great great job can't wait for this kit to sell to the public.

just a quick question, with this kit what are you using for meth mixture, nozzle size, and is it a 150,200, or 250 psi pump?

It doesn't matter where the sensor is plumbed I'm talking about its absolute reading which is rated at 2.5bar of pressure...yes there's pressure drop across the fmic and intercooler plumbing etc. but the sensor can reliably measure 2.5bar absolute boost, it doesn't matter where its plumbed...it can be plumbed in a can and you shove air pressure in it and it'll measure up to 2.5bar...

at sealevel take 1bar off that and you get 1.5bar of measuring range which is 21.7556607psi...unless he's below sea level

Weird...timing this 60-130 looks to be in the 7s? Where's that extra power going? You should be well into the 6s...7s are RB territory...that's weird...vbox it!
