Official Houston Thread

I did a search, and couldn't find any main Houston threads. I figure the 4th largest US city deserves it's own thread.

I have a 2008 montego blue 335i AT. So far, for cosmetic mods, I have an M3 spoiler and OEM aluminum pedals. I am looking to get blackline lights in the very near future. The only performance mod I have right now is a K&N dual cone intake. With my xmas bonus, I plan on getting CP-E dual exhaust. I would like to get the SSTT, but I am kinda weary to put stuff like that on my car, since it's brand new.

Post pics, mods, random comments, etc.

Go Rockets!

Because we're nuts.

Or maybe we just have too much time on our hands.

Just keep Tracy and Yao healthy and we are golden. Bought some regular season home opener tickets against Memphis yesterday, super pumped.

Anyone in Htown have an aftermarket exhaust? If so, what kind?

Cool. I was thinking about going there Friday as well, but my car is completly stock (performance wise), so I don't know if it is worth the money. Once I ugrade some performance stuff (intake, exhaust, possibly SSTT), I want to take it out and get my 1/4 time.

What type of mods do you or anyone else that is going with a 135 or 335 have?

I've never been to a racetrack before (well, other than horses ), how does it go down? Do you race someone, or just time?

Pfft....if Tracy makes it through the season without something bothering him I'll be surprised. I think his career is just about over.

I like Tracy, I'm just being realistic.

Couldnt have put it better myself. Something will bother him, that's a given, lets just hope it's not season ending. He knows that this is his greatest opportunity to make it deep in the playoffs, hopefully that will drive him to keep healthy. Personally, I wouldnt mind if he sat on the bench and rested the away games against poor teams.

Im running a jb3 with intake.

At the race track you do race someone. But most of the time its random because there are 2 lanes and when you get to the front of the line, who ever is at the front of the other line is the guy you race. 99% of the time you are racing for time, not the opponent. The guy in the other lane could be a honda civic or a 1000hp supra. Its more about racing your best times and working on your driving technique.

At least have him play only 1 or 2 quarters the first few games to get him back into "real" game conditioning.

I think the Rockets are going to be a force to reckon with this season.

DP, when would the run be exactly?
