au contraire, the Enthusiast branch of Ferrari is currently on Life support, its taken a back seat to modern Ferrari, which simply makes GTs for the most part, albiet some very sporty GTs.

They are basically a very upmarket of BMW as far as im concerned. Losing their way of sporting cars in favor of appealing to the Douchebag badge whores.

I've made that same comparison to BMW myself but I think BMW is much more of a "sell-out" of sorts than Ferrari. They scrapped the CSL in favor of M SUV's? I mean really...

I know the feeling. Both marques have diluted the brand to a ridiculous degree. I will never own a Ferrari, even I could afford one, and the only reason im in a modern BMW is because the 1er is fun to toss around.

Unfortunately, it's a sign of the times... all car companies need new products to make more money.

Do you actually think that BMW is making money off of the X5 and X6 M?

Maybe off the people who can actually afford them, but even then that's only a small percentage. I don't know anyone who aspires to own a 555hp SUV.
