valve cover gasket here I come...

That's the oil on the threads of the spark plug along with the electrode being fouled.



Also found this user's thread with the same issue (although there was no mention of what he did to fix it)

Just a heads up, it's easiest to just get a new valve cover. It comes with all the bolts and gaskets and whatnot. It's $322, more than the parts individually but you get a new pcv system too. Part number is:
11127565284

I had to replace mine because a methanol fire melted mine a bit, and I was pleasantly surprised that everything but the oil cap was included.


The pictures above look like fuel, not so much oil

Makes sense. I have to ask... WW tank meth kit? If so, have you since moved it to the trunk?

11608 - DME Digital motor electronics, internal failure, control nominal torque?

I done a plug change on my car the other night, cyls #1-2-3 & 5 all had oily plugs.

Did changing the valve cover gasket rectify this issue with oily plugs?

There was oil small traces of oil leaks around the engine in most areas (I have had the car 8 months and it has used a quart of oil which i hear is about normal as im FBO and drive it hard when i do drive it)
