It would be nice if higher boost, beyond the aggressive map, was an option. For is CA guys, a e85 map would be cool too. Octane 100/101 where i live is about 7.75 a gal :*(

I am from the Bay Area too and mixing octane 100 with 91.
I usually go to the 76 at 3010 Almaden Expy, SJ, but I still see bunch of timing corrections when running ~16psi, so I don't know if their gas is just bogus or what.

Which you do you go to? Do you have good result?

It looks like Cobb will be developing more features for the N55 users. Click on that thread, we need 100 people at least for the developments to happen. We're at about 60 something right now. Get into that thread and put yourself down if interested.

I want to assure you that feedback and requests such as these do not go unnoticed. In a perfect world, every enthusiast car would be supported by an Accessport with endless features and greater power potential.

With that said, we do not currently have plans to further develop the BMW platform. COBB is still a relatively small company and we simply do not have the resources to dedicate to creating full-fledged custom features. On the other hand, we are actively working on adding support for a N55 ROM that's recently hit US dealers along with miscellaneous bug fixes and we hope to have out sooner than later so each of you can continue to use your AP and tunes without issue!

We apologize for the less than ideal response, but we want to be honest about our intentions and level the expectations for our continued support. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any additional questions or concerns!

So no more support for us Cobb users on the N55 platform?

No development on new features, but sounds like they will try to keep up with factory ROM updates as they get open spots in their schedule. Good to hear there will be some amount of support, but sad to hear there is no priority here.

I use that one here and there, but have not received any odd timing corrections. I generally use the King Union 76 in Woodside/Redwood City.

Just to be sure, you turned off traction control while testing right? I made that mistake before haha

If it wasn't for amazing PTF's work on the N55 and their constant pushing tuning would be dead in the water. Cobb especialy should be so thankful to these guys! OTS maps compared to their custom is literally night and day.

Thanks for posting - I added my name.

I work down the street from them. I have toured their facility. People don't realize that the hardware they sell (FMIC, etc.) is all made by them, in the USA. They prototype the products, have a dyno where they test them, and then they manufacture them. If you want to support "Made in America", buy Cobb products.

MHD may be jumping into the N55 world, so there is still a possibility for N55 development on a different platform. Cross your fingers.

Yeah I seen Terry getting on MHD saying he hopes they take over the N55 project.
