Bobby,

Is or will there be a development of a enclosed version producing the same amount of power? I have the vorsteiner hood with open vents, so you can see how an open air filter would cause a problem when washing the car or if it rains.

the low end torque loss looks to be about 25 rwtq less. That could be substantial?

well idk about you guys but i drop the clutch around 2500 rpm and in a race my rpm never goes under 4-5k so in a race you would always be +hp not -hp.


now if your not racing you would not notice the 10 hp loss.

Well, since the M Force designs intake has taken so long, and who knows how much longer it's going to be on this intake. I pulled the trigger and bought a DSLR Canon XSI camera instead. So go ahead and take your time getting this intake out I'm going to have to wait till next month anyways! Seriously though, this intake looks gnarly, I can't wait!

In addition to that question, I don't precisely know how all these things work together but... does this mean that my car will have to operate at a higher rpm in order to cruise at the same speed vs the stock airbox?

no dude you would not notice it..

the dyno is from flooring it at at a low rpm trying to fill the tube with enough air. if you were at constant it should be exactly the same no?
