Pushing new shift knob on?
Hey guys, I just received my new shift knob from Tischer today, and the hook cap for my front bumper(YEAH My car has hook cover again).
Anyways, I did what shift knob removal DIY told me to do. Dropped the gear in the 2nd, and pulled it hard, and the stock shift knob came right off after a few tries. Now, here is the problem. Can I push the new knob on the gear rod like I pulled it out of it? I'm afraid I might break the whole gear area by pushing it in too hard. None of the diys mentions how hard I should push it in. Does anyone know for sure? Btw, the shift knob is a replica of a shift knob from old M5 I believe. I'll take a photo of it installed once I get it fixed on somehow.

Grip is tight, falls into each gear like it's a giant hole PS - Don't mind the dirty boot
