Where to find transmission rebuild service manuals?

Hey guys,

I'm a BMW newbie here and helping a friend with his 2011 BMW 335xi 6-speed manual which needs to be rebuilt. I used a vin decoder and was able to determine the following about his transmission:

BMW part no: 23-00-7-599-346
Transmission model: GS6X45DZ - THD9

I've rebuilt automatic transmissions for GM vehicles, but I'm having difficulty location documentation or a service manual for the rebuild procedure of one of these BMW manual transmissions. Does anyone have an idea of who publishes this or if there's a PDF available?

Thanks!

I remember seeing a thread (it was years old) and no one makes parts for these manual transmissions. At the time, the only option was to find a used tranny and swap it in.
