BTW.....I think 117C equates to over 200F since 100C = 212F.

I guess art majors aren't so good at math either!

so basically, the car will automatically limp/shut off after hitting a particular temp threshold?

for any one planing on doing this I recommend disconnecting the AC condenser and Power Steering cooler it all fits together as an assembly that is easiest to take out together. also there was some minor modification to the plastic end pieces that hold everything together. nothing that takes more than 5 minutes with a dremel.

I still have to see anyone else running the AR Design radiator.

Mine was in for a few months and then went out due to leakage (see the other thread in this forum). Apparently AR Design have fixed this problem, but I've been waiting to hear back from them for several weeks now without success.

The core looks similar to stock?
But the end tanks are aluminum rather than plastic, so they should flow better.

I actually had a radiator on order from AR for about 6 months before I finally canceled it. they seem to focus on there down pipes.

the core is about 3/8-1/2" thicker so just a little bit thicker. but I'm sure it will cool better and be much more durable as my car sees lots of track time.

Will you track your car to see how it deals with sustained heat?

Not bad for a all aluminum radiator actually. Lots of the Zionsville ones are close to that.

That is not a price for a great radiator.

Once we are done with ours, it will come in at a little below that with 30% more cooling tubes.

Thing is, they sold me one for 1000 USD which was first ill fitting and then leaked, said they would replace it and now don't go through with that promise...

It's good HP Autowerks seems to develop one, I have had only excellent experiences with Harold.

Although I'm not totally sure I actually need one, my car being a manual transmission. I have a few track days scheduled this summer and will keep an eye on the coolant temperatures.

You are taking too long Harold! The masses (trackers) have been looking for a solution for quite a while now, what's the hold-up?

I am sure you'll take over the whole market.

I will be tracking the car quit a bit. I'm a HPDE instructor so my car usually sees 10-20 track days a year. That's why I didn't feel bad about spending the money on a radiator that is made by one of the best radiator manufacturers in the world that supplies many F1 teams and other top tear motorsports teams. I have very few worries about the durability of this radiator.

Are you going to have an AT as well as an MT option?
