Hey guys. So im installing an intake and after I put the seal between the housing and the intake pipe, the screw for one of the holes will only go in halfway. I havent forced it in but I just wanna know whats going to happen because I dont want to return it. For reference, see below picture

Screw ML goes through C,G,B, and then finally through E. One of the 4 screws only goes halfway. What should I do?

No I mean when it screws it it only goes about halfway. There's a whole other half a screw still exposed when it feels like it is screwed into the end

Is the hole drilled to proper length? Have to tried another bolt? Did you try and install that bolt first or into another hole? Could always run a tap thru it to see if the treads are messed up.

Its definitely that one screw hole because the other screws dont fit as well. The screw that wouldnt fit DOES fit in other holes as well. Its definitely something with the threads. I put it as tight as it can and check for leaks by spraying canned air around the seal, but I couldnt feel any escaping air. You think I am good?

If you are gonna do that, then throw some extra washers on it, to make sure it is tight and you have no leaks. By the pic it looks like the bolt is off center and might not have been drilled correctly.

I do have an extra washer for some reason, along with a few smaller ones. Thanks for the suggestion

Should work. Check after a good drive, then once in awhile just to make sure. Your welcome!!!

If you loosen up the three other bolts, can you get the 4th one to go in better?

Nope. I think what was said earlier about the threading messed up is true. I just hope I don't run into more problems with this. I'm already praying that the sensor won't get messed up by oil particles ):
