Best 3 Series Color?
I know color is a preference but I was wondering what are the most desireable colors that people like. Personally I would never buy a green or red colored car. I've never had a white colored car but I am thinking about it. Would this color really affect resale value?

Can't go wrong with Alpine white!
But I personally love alpine white, montage blue and space gray! Value probably wont get hurt, but just my be harder to sell then a "popular" color. |

Montego blue is definitely my favorite but it's almost impossible to find in sedan form so I settled for white which was my 2nd favorite. White is definitely common though. Just go for the color you like, don't worry about resale.

My first choice was Montego blue but my wife (gf and the time) insisted I get white. Since I didn't have to pay for the $500 metallic paint option, I got the ipod option in place of it.

Tasman Green of course. With Chestnut Dakota leather to really set it off.
Though if I got to shop from the UK option list, I would have gotten Alpine White on Navy Blue leather. With just the slimmest blue pinstripe down the side, just like my last Peugeot 505 wagon back in the day. I still miss that car!

I think jet black is the most beautiful color when the car is clean, but it's just too hard to take care of it.

Definitely metallic black
Never goes out of style, and it's the best when clean. If you don't have the time to hand wash it atleast once a week (I do mine every 4-5 days) then don't get it... My second choice is LeMans Blue, then Montego blue. |

^ Agreed!
Black Sapphire Metallic is such a beautiful color when it's clean but it's extremely hard to keep it that way so second in line would be Alpine White or Crimson Red.

Space gray, even though Gray is too common, and Montego/Le mans/ Interlagos blues. Yeah, I'm partial to BMW blues, love the new F30 Estoril blue.
AW, Black, and Ti ag look great, but they are everywhere. |

My guess is there will be a lot of votes for alpine white. Seems to be very popular on the forum. Can't lie though, alpine is pretty sweet and this is coming from someone with BSM.

BMW has always been known for their Blue shades and Grey shades(Le mans, montego, laguna seca, estoril, space grey, sparkling graphite) but I also think mineral white and Carbon Black are gorgeous
