skipped through the pages. I'd prefer Crimson Red as far as factory paint options go, but then again factory paint always gets boring.

Custom paint > any 3 series paint

Bluewater Metallic. Somewhat rare on 335i's. A little more common on 328's.

I looked at all different colors in person and either Lemans blue or Monaco blue have my vote. White, silver and black are too common imho.

Blue water metallic.

In bright sunlight, it looks like silver/blue.
Under dark clouds, it looks like blue slate.

Of course, I'm heavily biased in this poll, as Sabine is in this color.
