My E91 325d with BMWP 216 Alloys

I recently aquired a set of 216's from eBay. However they arrived with 2 cracks on the inner rim, which were obvious but not mentioned.

I was not happy but had them fixed at Radical cars as i am friendly with the owner of the precision side of the business.

The wheels went on with new tyres last week, but they looked a little lost.

With the MV3's on

With the 216's on. I have added a 12mm spacer at the front and 16mm spacer at the rear. The suspension is standard M Sport and looks nice and low at the rear.

Before spacers

After

I like the overall stance of the car now, maybe need to drop the front by 10mm to even it up.

I can't remember who makes them, probably BBS. However with Runflat tyres it they are under inflated the stiffer side wall of the tyre can cause extra stress on the outer edge and cause the cracks.

I do like the look of the touring too, especially the M Sport too.

Thanks and without actually lowering the car it does look lower! The front has dropped a little since the picture as these were just after fitment and have settled.
