Dyno Day and BBQ - Saturday, June 13 - Carb Connection (BMWCCA event)

I've already RSVP'd and am attending. Jeff says there are a couple spots left, so if you'd like to run, jump on it! The only requisite is that I'm pretty sure you must be a BMWCCA member to attend.

Dyno Event & BBQ
AKA, gear head get-together, bench racing session with proof or just all around good time with car show and food.

At the Carb Connection Saturday June 13th
Begins at 10:00 am
13611 NE 126th Place ST 240
Kirkland, WA 98034
www.carbconn.com

It’s time we get together for round 5 of when the rubber meets the rollers. This event is always good for flogging our Bimmers, getting a taste of reality and just having a great time. I’m thinking of several new M3’s in the club that would be nice to see run as well as some modded E36 & E46 M3’s. Anyone with a new 335 twin turbo want to check out that new software upgrade? Maybe a few more Pro 3 race cars?

Alex and the guys at the Carb Connection in Kirkland are hosting the dyno tech session for our club at a discounted rate. Saturday, June 13th we will pay only $75 dollars (normally $145) to run our cars on their brand new 4wd dyno. Make up to 3 runs and get a print out ($10 dollars to burn a CD) of your cars actual horse power at the wheels as well as air fuel ratio.

The club will be providing the BBQ and refreshments around noon. There is plenty of parking on the back side of the building by the dyno room, so weather you’re going to run your car or not join fellow gear heads in having a great time.

RSVP to Jeff Butler at jeff@hauryscollision.com

Pretty good turnout today. There was an E90 M3 and an E93 M3, a couple Mercs, a 996TT, and a bunch of E36 and E46's.

I don't have my run files yet, but I put down exactly the same HP figures as last time (2/19 PROcede map) with the new 5/29 CANbus map, but with slightly less boost and a much better AFR curve. When I get the run files, I'll post a combo of the two to see the difference in curves.

I met a guy there with an E90 335i running the JB3 on map 7. Only other mod was a DCI and he put down 373whp I believe. That is an SAE number, so figure ~385whp in E90Post STD conventions. Awesome numbers on pump gas!

i kinda regret selling JB3 everytime i see post like that...

as for the dyno meet, i was somewhat busy and totally forgot about this event... dam it...

my dp,ic,lsd, sways should be delivered in next few weeks so will see how procede stage II or III map handles those goodies. if i put down less than what JB3 guy did with just DCI, i'll be more likely converting back to JB3...
