Hmmmm now I am contemplating getting a rear unit but most likely it will be too much of a pain in the ass to get it installed.

Buy a black license plate frame and attach the sensor to the frame, it would be very hard to notice I'm sure.

Did I miss anything over on the mazda sight? I just shot through it real quick, and couldn't find any updates. I sent the PM as per aviators request last week, but haven't seen anything regarding a payment request.

I am going to meet up again and help test out another persons LI in the next few weeks. I still have a spare LI which I can just plug in the extra 2 heads into my system and unplug my permanent install which will allow me to temporarily tape the extra 2 in different places on the vehicle.. let me know if anyone wants a specific location tested.

But so far my install in the most stealthy (behind the grills) and is proven to jam to the gun.

As for rear install I taped 1 sensor to the top of the trunk and it was able to jam quite well at distance over 700 feet, anything closer and you could get a reading by aiming at the far corners of the headlights.

If you want full jam to the gun rear shot installing 2 sensors to the sides of the trunk release should work fine.

But again let me know anything you guys want and I can test it out for everyone.

Next week I will have time and I will write up a DIY install for the LI with pictures and instructions. At max it will take about 20-40 minutes to install depending on if your picky and want to completely have all the wires out of sight or if you dont mind looking at 2 inches of wire.

There's no room there. And if popo flashes his big light on your car (if he decides to pull you over) your module would be exposed.

I was just going to go with 2 up front as well, but now I'm starting to second guess myself. I think I might wait to see what the install looks like on the rear. the good thing about waiting is I can always buy another unit later on...I won't get the discount...but the discount on single units isn't that great anyways.

By the way...there's a bit of a tizzy happening on the mazda gb thread in regards to the quality of the LI, or past quality I guess. I'm not believing one word of it, since Andrew has already picked one up and had some great test results.
