Xdrive turns off

I have a 2010 BMW 335i xdrive and my car turns off xdrive around 30 miles per hour. What would cause this it say xdrive malfunction. What are possible causes. FYI car was wrecked before.

Probably the xDrive proportioning drive motor or it's drive gears have failed. Not terribly unusual for the plastic drive gears to wear out. Part #13: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...32&hg=27&fg=15

It said it on Idrive it says 4x4 malfunction. And turns off abs and traction control and the brake light stays one but it's not red it's yellow.

That's the same warning set of indication as having a transfer case issue. Some transfer cases are replaced free of charge by dealer as they can be faulty and throw these codes after an accident or major pot hole occurrence. Take it to a dealer and have them check it out.
