thanks jay, I already saw all these here... I'm trying to stick below $22k on the purchase and going to a private party helps too cuz then I pay a flat fee here in WI for a Use tax instead of the shitty 8.75% or whatever it is in Chicago now.

I'll be honest... I'm fine with any bimmerpost sub forum member but extending it to euroteknik and chitownM (which is a huge failure of a website IMO) just kinda makes it lose its luster to me. I'd rather be meeting and hanging out with the guys I talk to on a regular basis on here... not some schmoe I'll never see or hear from ever again. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hatin on them but I was just kinda excited to it to be just us from this site (bimmerpost not just e90post). A meet with 20 of us and 40 random people just doesn't sound as much fun to me.

right and I live in Madison.... 5.5% tax here but I believe its flat fee here depending on the value of the car purchased so it ends up being like $600 bucks or so. I could be wrong though... even so, you can't beat 5.5%

haha, the more the merrier but we started it here, lets keep it to the bimmer post guys. I understand if the business (fluid) is trying to make money but if thats the case maybe a separate meet could be made with that in mind

and killer deal with wisconsin rates!

no its cool man... itd be different if we all already knew each other (besides me a Tommy-chitown335xi who went to HS together) but for our 1st real chicago/midwest meet I say we try to keep it in the family.

Thats fine, what ever you guys want! You guys organized so we will let you guys pick and choose. We would definitely want to include ChiTownM though since we are a sponsor of their forum and they are a great group of guys. I think you guys would like them and I believe a few ChiTownM guys are actually on this forum.

Yup, keep it in the family! Later in the year we can open it up but I would rather keep it to the guys that are on here. Just my .02.

I fully agree! I don't want just any random sausage fest, it has the be our bimmerpost family sausage fest!
