COBB V3 Stage 1 Aggressive map with 93 octane - no more 155 mph governor. Limited by sheer terror (or stupidity). Deserted road, could see for miles, very hot and humid that day.
Someone was claiming a 335is should go a lot faster?

Finally got a nice bright sunny day here in Iowa...the sun was catching the lines on the car just right.
I've gotta get a real camera some day.

Hi everyone. New to this forum. Picked up a used 2011 coupé last July with 34K miles. On the fence on whether to keep or sell due to issues within the first week I owned it (cracked valve cover, leaking oil line on one of the turbos). I am afraid of very high repair costs.
Love the engine, hate the gadgets and electronic nannies that cannot be turned off completely (stability control). Wondered what issues you have seen with your vehicles? |

Sorry to hear you had troubles right off the bat. I've got a 2011 with about the same number of miles on it and am loving it. Had it since November.
You can disable the traction control by holding down the DTC button for about 3-4 seconds. Allows you to get sideways if you want it to and won't stop the back tires from spinning on acceleration... As far as I know, it completely disables the traction control. I pretty much leave mine on DTC most of the time (one push of the button which gives you a light on the dash) unless it is raining. I turn it completely (hold down for 3-4 seconds) if I want to get sideways or know that I don't want traction control to kick in. There are basically three levels of control: 1. whatever it is at startup (can't do much of anything without the nanny interfering - I never use this mode unless it is raining or need to use cruise control) 2. DTC - push the button once. Give you more control, but still lets you have a little fun 3. Completely off - hold down the button for a few seconds and a different light will turn on in the center of the dash. Hope this helps, Greg Quote:

Does anyone have this issue, or know how to fix it?
My car hesitates and almost sounds like its backfiring, when shifting from one gear to the next when I give it a good amount of gas. I've changed plugs, coils, and had a walnut blast not that long ago. |
