Yes. I'd say the Porsche GT2RS is pretty close to a supercar. If the Lamborghini Gallardo and Audi R8 are supercars, then the Porsche must be as well.
Nissan GTR, Benz C63 and BMW M3 are not - They are too reasonably priced and too practical! You need to get a SLS if you want to call it Supercar. The SLS gull-wing doors fit the criteria of being impractical, and the cost is sufficient too. If we are talking Supercars, then make mine a McLaren MP12-4C. |

I think there is an air of mystery that surrounds a super car, they defy all practical daily driving logic, kinds like an F1 car that can be road registered |

Regular 911 Carrera is already a quasi-supercar...
911 Turbo, definitely supercar although the most understated of them all. On the other end of the spectrum, R8 (V8) looks like a supercar but performance is no better than an M3 or tuned N54. All supercars these days can be daily driven so the criteria "not being able to be daily driven" is a bit irrelevant. |

Im always a firm believer that if you cant afford it then dont comment. So probably best you just keep quiet in this thread.....Nothing worse then when people put their 2cents in based only on their extensive youtube experience.

Hang on, so going by your theory, if you can't afford the space shuttle, you're not qualified to call it one... hmmm... interesting theory...

The theory of 1series and homo relativity states that if you are in your mid 40s and you drive a 1er/non M then you were most probably a social outcast at a younger age, self delusional about their current 'success', and just an all round loser. Ummm... I think you haven't stalked me enough, I'm not even in my mid 40's. Not even early 40's... not even late 30's... not even mid 30's!
So what about people who buy M cars? Are they just wanna be Stigs with not enough money to buy an actual supercar? The ones who are too scared to go to the track because they don't want everyone to know they can't drive? Or scared that the non-M's and 1ers will be faster? Even though they don't have LSD's... |

And not stating the obvious but... your whole argument was that if you can't afford a supercar, you can't distinguish what is and what isn't a supercar.

Why would I spend more money on something that is slower, and makes me look like a middle aged wannabe?
