How much should I pay? Starting negotations
I know exactly what car I want, and I've done a lot of reading on here as well. I was just wondering, how much is a good price to pay on a 2008 335XI Coupe. The following are the options I want on my vehicle.
Saphire Graphite Black Interior Gray Poplar Trim Premium Package Navigation Package Sport Package Sport Package Wheels Upgrade Sirius Satellite Heated Front Seats Comfort Access iPod and USB Adaptor Park Distance Control That comes out to be MSRP $51070 with an invoice price of $46900. According to some of the things over on the forums, I've seen that the following as well: PCD MSRP is $48940 and invoice is $44940. ED MSRP is $48090 and invoice is $44160. It seems as though dealers don't consider PCD pricing at all, and say its the same, but for ED the prices are cheaper. I mean, if it ED is a lot cheaper, why not just buy a cheap ticket to Munich, pickup on Friday, drive the weekend, and drop it off Sunday/Monday and come back. Then wait 4-6 weeks for it to be re-delivered. Right now, I just want to know how much I should be paying for my car if I did buy it here. Last edited by nish; 11-22-2007 at 11:21 PM.. |

can you really get to germany/back w/hotel/meals/etc./transportation back to airport for under $800-$900 (as above in the $ difference w/ED) and still make it worth your time/effort?

So best I've gotten is $52,735.25 out the door including taxes, etc.
The price is $1500 over invoice plus 180 training fee, 150 floor mats, 100 another fee (forgot what it was), but thats $430 more. So is that a good deal? The trade-in offer I got was crap so there is no way I'm trading it in. |
