Wanted: Touch screen head unit

You know the sort I mean, sat nav etc built in - I'm watching a couple on eBay but thought I'd see if anyone on here has one.

Cash waiting.

Cheers

That one looks like it is part of the fascia

Good luck

im the same, i want sat nav, bluetooth etc but don't want the agro of CIC retrofit. once you fully price it up it does start to become expensive.

I'm not interested in a CIC retrofit as I won't keep the car long enough, one of these I can remove again and recoup some of the cost.

There's one on eBay that caught my eye too, it's currently £210 I think on bin.
Looks to be canbus too so says it shows parking sensor display, heated seats, doors open diagram and fuel etc.

Agree when you add CIC plus dash to a non i-drive car its expensive. I would look at the Pioneer/Sony double din units that have Satnav too. About £600 but they will outperform CIC with ease as they are state of the art.

Do you have a link by any chance? Sounds interesting.

I've been trying to find an Android one rather than just a standard one as I've recently discovered Spotify which would be great with a 4G Dongle in the car.

Sure eBay number is 281907877707
It looks a nice interface and more like the BMW standard one.

The picture is a Dynavin - they have a pretty good rep and customer support.

Eonon etc I think are dodge.

Dynavin are better but still plenty of problems with them when you read threads about them. Also nearly all of the ebay ones are not Dynavin, there is also someone selling them as Dynavin yet its a model that doesn't exist on Dynavin's website.

I'm not too fussed on the brand as long as it preferably runs Android so I can use the internet/Spotify.

your problem will be quality and customer support.

These chinese units will have gone through 0 product control, testing and quality control, sound quality is generally poor as is the OS. Components used will be cheap and if anything goes tits up you will either get no response or be required to send the unti back and a god knows how much cost.

If you check out Pioneer or Sony, they run Mirrorlink which connects to your phone. Runs spotify etc not sure about internet though.

Also interested in a double din fascia kit if anyone has one so I can just fit a universal double din.

Cheers

Best to buy one of these and then chose a decent double din.
Total install for a good setup fitted will be £800+
