Spark Plugs
I am looking to change out my recently added Bosch spark plugs. I have had defects with two of the Bosch plugs. I am looking at the NGK 95770 plug. I have a custom MHD Tune by Ken at Wedge Performance.
Is this the preferred plug or should I be looking at another option? Thanks,

I assume that you have manually created the gap right?

Right, the ones I got came gapped @ 0.032". Just gap them yourself and measure the gap with a feeler gauge. The spark plug gap measuring disc tools you find at auto stores are junk and only measure to 0.020" and very inaccurately at that.

Again, always great information and advice here. So which plug should I go for? I am looking for the prt number? I don't know whether to go with an N20 plug? Should I go one step colder?

Great. So the part number I had for the n20 is correct. Why are you going with this N20?

Interested in this thread as well! Just got the wedge tune but had a bunch of corrections from my oem bosch plugs before I flashed the tune. Thinking of just swapping them out for NGKs that are gapped more aggressively

If you want the best of both worlds with your gauge sets, a wire loop gauge is your ticket. You get the adjustment tool with the accuracy of a feeler tool. The only downside is the limited number of measurements. As long as you get one with the gap that your car needs, you'll be fine.

I couldn't find any wire ones that went below .022". Get a spark plug gauge off Amazon. Get the feeler gauge set with the adjustment tool on it (usually black). That will allow you to bend the electrode easily.

I have been having an issue with my car that I was quite sure was a boost leak the way it was acting. I had the above N20 plugs above so I put them in while I was hunting for it. I gapped them to .018". The old plugs had 43k miles on them, dealer installed OEM plugs which should be .022". I measured them when they came out and they were over .032"!
Replacing the plugs fixed my car. It didn't behave like a car with bad plugs normally does so I wasn't thinking that was my issue, but held a little hope that was it. Moral of the story, if you are having any issues and the plugs have over 20k miles, change them!

It is a .028" gap stock, I thought it was .022". I might have to see exactly what they were at tonight as the .032" went in no problem and I stopped there.
