HPFP REplacement

Can anyone remember who has done this work if you HAVE TO remove the intake manifold or can be done without having to remove that ?

N55 only please. That area for N54 is a bit different.

I only removed the throttle body and had plenty of space. Only thing that is difficult is accessing the hex bolt on the block side of the pump. Get an extended hex bit socket (5mm I think?) and you'll be fine.

It makes it a million times easier, but I've heard of people just removing the throttle body.

No need to remove the intake manifold AT ALL.....Swapping the HPFP will take an hour.

Does anyone have a step by step with pics on this? Have a feeling I'm going to be doing this soon as well.
