I'm about to replace all 4 bearings and hubs on our E91 328 XDrive. I think there is an easier way to do it, I rented a hub/bearing removal and installation tool from O'Reilly's. No instructions but I found this great video.

I think most cars have common attachment method for bearing/hub/retainer ring/half-shafts/nut.

Only part I'm worried about is;
1) being able to remove the rear half shafts. I don't want to undo any suspension parts, so I may un-bolt the axle from the differential. Only negative to doing this is that bolts may be single use. Any suggestions?

2) Front axle - should be able to remove bearing/hub on the vehicle with this tool but wondering how to get the axle out of the hub

3) 310 ft-lb, I don't have a torque wrench that high, so I may tighten to 200+ and drive to nearby shop then stake the nut.

I'm going to attack this in few days so let's see....also, I'm replacing the brakes at the same time.
