Alpina Flashed in San Diego

Jackson just swung by tonight and got me setup with the B3 Alpina flash on my car. Holy crap. What a difference. So much smoother and lightning quick. Anyone that's in Socal should hit him up for the flash. Takes about 30 min and then happy shifting.

Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you like it!

The flash is definitely the best mod you can get on a 335!

I have two of them. One is attached to an E46 M3 with a Supercharger. The other is attached to an E12 Race car with an E30 m3 transmission, e9 LSD, and a M30B35 with a Frank Fahey Turbo Kit. jusssayinn'

Sometimes its nice to have a autotragic DD.

What is an Alpina flash? How does it work with your JB4?

Google search Alpina B3 flash and see what you come up with. I think its some sort of hyped up Alpina B3 Transmission flash for N54 and N55 platform that transform car into racecar

It works amazingly in conjunction with the jb4. Drove it today a bit harder than usual and it was silky smooth. The fast shifts are addicting.

Wish Alpina had updated their D3 flash...it doesn't apply to my car, and it makes me sad, but I love Jackson's work, and recommend him to anyone for ANY kind of coding work you need. The guy is simply awesome...very patient and methodical.

His M3 is sick...and clean! Saw this car and person and fell in love with it, and he didn't even need to start it up.

Just like that and 2 days later I now have the alpina flash!

Thanks Jackson

And he reinstalled my jb4 all within an hour....guess it was blocking the coding

Thanks guys!!!

Yea, for some reason even with the JB4 in map 0, it is still interfering with the communication with the TCU this time.
It went smoothly after we took it out.

Also big thanks to cn555ic for the flash!

I've never had coding done so I was wondering will this affect my warranty? Sounds like I could definitely benefit from this if it doesn't.

You have JB4, DCI, BMS 3" catless downpipes, H&R sport springs, Koni yellow shocks, and you're worried about a software flash??

I understand it's just a software flash but my JB4, DCI and DP's come off before dealer visits. So could I install this flash and be ok or would I need to uninstall it each time like I do my other mods?

No it isn't. Costs me $200 each time but I've had my DP's on for over 5 months now so I don't mind twice a year even though my $400 DP's are turning into $800+

You need to find a more mod friendly dealership, my friend.
