Another BMW performance exhaust + intake happy owner
Just received my BMW performance exhaust and intake today. I ordered it Friday morning and got it Monday afternoon. to Jason/Evan @ Tischer.
Too bad I won't see it until Friday night. I'll post more pics (uninstalled and installed) and possibly videos/audios in the next week or so. 11-Jan Update Exhaust sound on engine start, pull out and low-speed drive by Watch in HD [u2b][/u2b] 23-Dec Update #1 Intake DIY http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195658 Please note of the new link/thread. I couldn't edit the existing incomplete DIY so I created a new one. 22-Dec Update #2 Spirited driving / cabin sound video This is how it sounds like from the inside. Unfortunately though the video did not quite pick up the true sound level as I used a 10-year old video cam. The real sound is definitely louder. Sorry, I had to blur it. I wasn't speeding but this is to make sure I don't get in trouble. Watch in high quality [u2b][/u2b] 22-Dec Update #1 Short Review Exhaust break in period (IMO) At least 2 hrs of driving. The sound gets better after roughly 2 hours of driving. Then it gets better the following day. Performance gain! On paper, there should be around 5-9hp at 5K gain for the intake and exhaust combined. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here). I can't quantify the real world gain but I think that my car has become much quicker and more responsive (I drive in DS or manual mode). Add the beautiful and racy exhaust note to the mix and you'll feel like you're driving an even more faster car. Best mod ever for me and a must-mod for compatible NA bimmers. BMW Performance Exhaust (for 328) vs stock 335 exhaust No doubt the performance exhaust note is nicer and louder (in a good way) than the stock 335 exhaust Fuel consumption Driving style for this reviewExhaust note from the cabin/inside It's definitely much more apparent from the cabin/inside. It will keep you smiling like a fool. And the moment you accelerate, the exhaust note lets out a nice growl from any rpm. Drone No droning at all. Enhaust note on start up It's a beauty. Check out the video below. 21-Dec Update #2 Exhaust Video 0 to 5K rpm revs YouTube High Quality video link [u2b][/u2b] 21-Dec Update #1 Exhaust Pics Pre-install Post-Install

Haha. Not yet, I wish I could! I'd be probably done installing the intake by now and making some good neighborhood runs if I only could.
The parts are at my house in NJ which is a good 1.5 hrs (or 2 hrs with traffic) away from my NYC apartment, where I live during the week. So the wait is killing me! I'd ask my relative to unpack them and send me some pics so I could at least see them.

i bet lol I would've been in a similar situation but I got it delivered to my workplace in NYC only because I knew that heading home to PA to get it after a day of work and then getting it installed would have been a pain. Once you install it and turn it on for the 1st time might give you butterflies so beware.

Just butterflies? LOL. I'll make sure I take some drugs to calm me down before I turn it on for the first time. .

LMAO yea huge box. I honestly didn't know what to expect but I took mine out the box and looked like a fool walking around midtown with a two piece exhaust trying to catch a cab to my car. People looked at me like I had ten heads but of course as excited as i was didn't give a damn.
