It that possible to add paddle shifters?
I have an automatic sport package 335i sedan for more than three months without steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Is that possible to add paddle shifters by changing to the steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters or the car have to re wire for this upgrade?
What is the cost to get paddle shifters for an automatic sport package 335i that don't have paddle shifters. I know I should get the one with paddle shifters, but I just walked into the dealer at lunch time for a test drive and just fell in love with her (335i). I still love her but just want her (335i) to be perfect for me. Thanks fin |

Now if it below $400 I will get it( for fun). Have to kick myself for not getting it for $100. I have ( simple Mod) blackline, roof spoiler, eyelids, cf roundels and the black grill coming today. Thanks |

Its possible.
You need new steering wheel, both paddles (left and right), new bracket, and wires. I'm waiting for the BMW release the bracket.

My I've driven my friend's 335i with paddle shifters on his steering wheel. Its really cool at first, and is very fun. The only thing I didn't like was that it made the steering wheel look ridiculous, and constrained the areas where you could put your hands on the wheel.

I think it needs a doctor (sick), I just installed black grills and one of the screw fell into the engine area. It look nice at nite with the black grill but have to see it in the day light .... I'll take some photo tomorrow and think of new mods.
can't wait for my fuel pump to fail as it has a few hard starts ....from the past few days. I got a red light camera ticket last week ($375)... the first ticket since 9 years ago.... I alway driving 20, 30 miles faster than speed limit and I'm thinking of the procede after the fuel pump get fix. The 335I is wild cat compares to my 2005 325I. But I know the 2008 M3 is the real anwer for the next mod. |
