Water droplet (drip) sound when setting off

Has anyone else noticed a distinctive single water droplet sound when driving off?
My radio is usually off or low when I start the car. I'll put it in gear and pull out slowly, and within that first sort of motion I always hear the sound.
Sometimes I hear it when going into reverse too.

You may have a build up of water in your rear quarters/sills.

This may be the answer for you

ps.... I take it from your user name you may have a 1200GSA triple black?

Ive just sold my 1200GSA last week

Hi, I've read your thread before and I don't think it is the same thing, but I will give it a try.
The sound is loud enough to indicate that its either coming from the dash or around the centre console and I cant hear it any other time when driving so I dont think its actual water moving about.

The user name was in reference to my determination to get an E93 with black exterior, black leather seats and black piano trim... An impossible find! lol

Oh I see A rare find indeed . I didn't realize your sound was coming from the front center area. I can't think what that would be

Good luck finding it and let us know what it ended up being.

lol, I gave up and got the car with the usual silver trim instead but I'm in communication with some people on here to have that changed at some point.

What I'll do is try and get a recording of the sound.
