Tackled this annoying DIY and it was not fun. Saved almost $1500 though! Damn leaking valve cover gasket

Wow, major props for tackling this yourself. What was the most difficult part? I might need to do this to replace my PCV valve...

Thanks! I'd say getting the actual valve cover off. I kept loosening all the bolts all around the valve but it took forever.

I was just told mine's leaking too and got quoted $1,400. I planned to shop around for a cheaper shop but now I have no excuse. Thanks and great job!

Nice! I like your DIY videos. The one about painting the bumper grill with the balloon trick was cool. Ignore all the perv comments, some people are just idiots.

Wow, I am truly impressed, guess I will be trying this now on my own....
If a girl can do it, I guess I can do it...
LOL, that's a joke and not meant to be offensive I have just heard so many people say how hard it is and I had kinda talked myself out of it but I guess I will be doing it now.
Kudos to you for completing this challenge!!!
I have seen some of your other videos and used them as well, Thanks!!!

Not offended. I often tell people if I can do it, anyone can! Good luck. It's not fun though!
