It takes 6-7 days, so 25-26. The port of Hueneme vessel schedule is currently showing 2/25 and that is very do-able.
I don't know if she is stopping at the port of Long Beach/LA (probably is, but you have to pay to see their schedule), but I don't think she's stopping in San Diego. |

If it helps, here are some other pics or schedules and routes. It doesn't look like it stops in Long Beach or San Diego. I wish it would make a quick stop here in SD that would be sweet.

Well, I am happy to report one little bit of news. Here's the current Sailwx.info map that shows the Maersk Wind. The Maersk Wind (the light blue ship) sailed side-by-side with the AE through the Panama Canal, so you can assume AE is still side-by-side as they head towards SoCal.

Here's an updated sailwx with Maersk Wind, which went through the PanCanal with AE. It looks MW is headed further out to sea. If you straightened her path out towards SoCal, she might reach the tip of Baja, so that is probably where AE is currently.
AE is still showing ETA PH 2/26, so she's getting close. |

Here's the current West Coast of Mexico AIS radar. It is a bit funky. Sometimes ships will show up on it, but most of the time they don't.
I was reading this, in regards to AIS signal strength: "On unusual days of extreme trophospheric ducting, radio signals actually bounce off the trophosphere and it is possible at these times to observe vessel traffic at great distances such as the super tankers lightering over 50 miles offshore south." I think this is what is going on with this particular radar signal. Sometimes you can see ships on it, but most of the time you can't. |

In contrast, this is what we were seeing when we tracked the Hudson Leader a couple weeks ago. The signal was great. I wish we could get that signal tonight.

If it was a euro delivery, that could take a lot longer. Customs is really slow with ED cars. |

Apparently all cars are dropped off at the Cali port, even though the AE is headed to Tacoma. Who knows why, but I guess that's where they have to do the quality control checks. My CA said they generally receive cars from Port Hueneme in 3-4 days so I'm trusting him and hoping for Saturday!!!

This is off topic, but they seem to be having some kind of Fancy outdoor catered buffet dinner at the Miraflores lock on the panama canal.... how strange..
