Question Smoother running car after JB3 install

I just got my JB3 installed yesterday and I'm not sure if its a placebo effect but the car seems to be idling and running alot smoother.

Everyone says the JB3 is jerky and like an on-off switch but I just feel like its smooth over the entire powerband...
No I do not go stop-light racing and yes its only been 2 full days of driving but I got into low triple digit speeds on the highway and I could feel the difference coming from the SSTT to the JB3 (map 3, 93oct)

JB3 FTW

The JB3 mapping is very smooth. Especially with automatics where I've heard from customers who have tried multiple tunes its smoother and holds boost better up top than anything else out there. Some manual transmission drivers don't like the way the boost is mapped aggressively to pedal input but personally I love it. And I've asked BMS to add a setting for that in the future though so we can all pick our personal preferences on the throttle mapping.

What are you waiting for? You are running 93oct, so switch it to map 5!

Ramping up slowly... I wanna make sure everything runs fine on Map 3.
In a few weeks or so i'll ramp up to Map 5 and if I throw any codes invest in a DCI.

Bro its not Map3 thats jerky. In fact map 3-5 are great. But i run map7 daily and i have a pulley so my car probably revs a tiny bit faster, and i ONLY drive in DS. its a little big rougher than others. That being said i love the grunt, and the roughness. If i wanted a smooth car that was plush i woulda got an E-Class mercedes or a Cadillac.

The jerkiness for me seems progressively more noticieable the longer I drive. I've learned to dismiss it as improved throttle respone. lol
