Finally installed my eibach pro-kits

There's definitely a noticeable decrease of front wheel gap. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

can't stop smiling

Been reading lots of posts on here since I decided to get a BMW and in December I took a 500 mile trip to pick up my Titanium Silver 335is cabrio. I wanted to get this car because I didn't want to have to spend even more $$ modding a car to make it be what I wanted. With the is, BMW gave us a factory 'tuner': ECU flash for more power, snarly exhaust, additional cooling, stiffer engine mounts, stunning wheels, DCT, overboost.

There's room for improvement, but so far I'm only looking at minor cosmetic updates/repairs and new tires! Mine's DD for now, so not trying to shred tires just yet. However, today was the first time I turned off traction control completely and really pushed the car on some twisty mtn roads. The car is way better without the nannies. even with these harsh ass RFTs at about 50% tread, there was so much grip. Nice subtle rotation from the backend that you will not get with the DTC on.

I've got full res pics up on wheelwell.com Link in my signature.

Thanks to everyone who has ever shared on this site. I did a lot of research on here and it's an awesome community. Hope I'll be able to give back now.

Has anyone swapped out the DCT center console Shifter for another shifter?

I lightened it so you could see the drop better. Back lowered maybe 1/4 inch and the front closer to 1/2 inch. I was worried it wasn't going to lower much but i'm happy. Any lower and I wouldn't be able to drive on these nj/nyc streets. Installed a week ago so maybe it will settle more.

Anyone running upgraded swaybars? If so, 1) is it noticeable? 2) what products are recommended?

I am! M3 front and rear. I did the Whiteline subframe bushing inserts at the same time. Love it! A lot of people only use the M3 front swaybar and keep the stock rear. Personally, I think it's mostly because of how tricky it is to get the rear bar in. There is a bit more oversteer at the limits, but I can say my handing has been transformed.

Anyone else have a leaking DCT? BMW has just replaced both of my side and lower covers on my DCT for the 3rd time in a little over year. Love the car but the constant oil leaks and now the leaking DCT is driving me crazy!

Yesterday while parked, car on, my car chimed and I looked at my navigation display and it read "Battery disconnected".. WTF? I turned my car off and restarted it and drove home. Was fine. This morning I started my car up again and another warning light came on my navigation display warning me my battery was not connected.

Okay, if my battery was indeed disconnected how the hell would I be able to drive my car to work? Da heck is going on? Car is 2013 with 30,000 miles. No service problems ever.

May just be a loose cable, not making proper contact on the terminal.
Check your battery terminals and make sure the cables are tight.

They replaced a gasket before for me on the DCT cause it was leaking and it's leaking again from the looks of it when I had it in the lift at my friends shop, gotta take it in since I still got the warranty on it.

Just busting his chops, if that's the ride height he likes than I'm all for it everyone has their own taste, personally I prefer the fender to be right at the tire

For the DCT, has anyone figured out a way to have a Launch Control switch that could be pressed similarly to the way the switch under the gas pedal gets pressed? Our cars don't need to be launched at 5000 rpm, especially when modded just a bit. So, the ability to hold the brake, press a button, rev to 3500ish RPMs then let off the brake then feather the throttle to get a good launch...

edit: Kick down blocker in place which stops the switch under the gas pedal from operating.

Has anyone seen something like this?

I have a kick down switch blocker since I don't like the way it operates. Sorry, forgot to mention that...

I have the kick down blocker also, haven't launched the car since I put it in, never had a reason too.
