2007 E92 Sport Suspension.... is it harsher than 2008 onward??

I have a 2007 E92 (coupe), with a sport suspension.
I have read that the 2007 had a 'harsher' ride than later years. i assume this means that the springs and/or shocks are stiffer.

Can anyone confirm this to be true??

I don't know about a difference between 07 and 08, but have read in multiple places that in 2011 everything got softer.

could just be a change of tire brand. i love the convenience, but not the shitty ride run flats provide
