Ummm we actually have all those cars in Canada, as well lambos and ferraris and new GTRs, but I really think that's irrelevent since everyone always knows someone who has a faster more modified car. He did great on the 1/8 track and shared some great vids, thats about it.

While it was a little bit of hyperbole I would admit, the list of cars you would meet at the strip, much less the street gets quite small that could take on the launch of the 335xi.

Street tire to street tire - I haven't met anything at the strip (yet) that posted a faster 60ft times (1.7-8s) short of the AWD modded Evo's/STIs.

Now the car isn't the fastest thing at the 1/4mile by any means - but it dam sure isn't the slowest and far surprises a shitload more people expecting to see hi 13s or 14s rung up from a 3900lb car. But it is dam hard to beat the bang for the buck measurement and sleeper status.

I don't think that video helped your arguement. From this video I would deduce that his car would beat the 997TT in the 1/8, but lose in the 1/4. - unless you are agreeing with the OP?

A 50k car running low 12s while being awd is not exactly bang for the buck material in my mind...no bmw is. But this is just my humble opinion.

I think its very possible to keep up with a 997TT on
0-200m depending on the launch.

And it's possible to keep up with a 997TT to 200km/h
But after that, you're out of the game.

anyway I run 3.6 in 0-60 anytime...not a lot of car do this in real world exept mod car or fast stock car with pro driver.

Is not for my ego I write this post,only for fun and for all guy run 335 here. If you go on Mustang or Vette forum is samething.

Maybe my english is very so so? I say this car beat me on red light. The GTR and 911 turbo is more fast than my car from dead stop on red light (street tire) with good driver

Just for fun WhiteSled, the Camaro had big block with more than 450hp, drag slick and drag transmision with "stal" Here in Canada not lot of car like that on the red light (real world) lol

Dude, your car is quick..I give you that. But to compare it to GTR, 997tt, and evo at current state,,you must be on something.

Check out evom to see how many evos are deep into 9's, 10's. There are so many 11 sec evos they don't even count.

Fastest 60' I've seen is 1.3. Even I pull consistent 1.6-1.7 with my horrible launching.
117mph is NOT fast.

But good kill on 1/8 mile track nonetheless. Now go to 1/4 mile track and see what happens.

I think the OP's car would hang with most cars on the streets too..Like he said except GTRs and z06 and obviously some other boosted carss... How often do you see z06's or souped up rx7's and 10second evo's not so often.....

The only thing I can say...on red light, only GTR, 911 turbo and maybe some STI/EVO "mod" can run me with car like mine.
