Anyone with vented hoods think their DCI/BOV became too loud?
After JB4, I was obsessed with the spools, DCI and OEM BOV sound and wished it was slightly louder. After installing downpipes, I was 99% satisfied with the sound/volume with the intake/downpipes.
However, after installing the hood with vents, I could hear the turbo spools, BOV and intake suction noise CLEARLY with the windows rolled up. It is definitely fun when you feel like having fun. But when I wanted to cruise at 60km/h, all I could hear was the intake and turbo spools 24/7. If you haven't experienced this, you would probably be like "damn I wish mine was that loud". Trust me, I love loud exhausts and intakes but this is getting annoying. Any solutions besides going back to OEM intake?

A bit off topic,I have the m3 style cf hood and I covered the vents now that it snows so often,do you have yours exposed?

And no I didn't cover the vents as I had this installed for only a few days. Might have to cover it up for a week or two.

I was originally going for the v35 hood but the dome on the side of the m3 style hoods just makes the car look so aggressive.
