Anyone with vented hoods think their DCI/BOV became too loud?

After JB4, I was obsessed with the spools, DCI and OEM BOV sound and wished it was slightly louder. After installing downpipes, I was 99% satisfied with the sound/volume with the intake/downpipes.

However, after installing the hood with vents, I could hear the turbo spools, BOV and intake suction noise CLEARLY with the windows rolled up.

It is definitely fun when you feel like having fun. But when I wanted to cruise at 60km/h, all I could hear was the intake and turbo spools 24/7.

If you haven't experienced this, you would probably be like "damn I wish mine was that loud". Trust me, I love loud exhausts and intakes but this is getting annoying.

Any solutions besides going back to OEM intake?

And no I didn't cover the vents as I had this installed for only a few days. Might have to cover it up for a week or two.

I was originally going for the v35 hood but the dome on the side of the m3 style hoods just makes the car look so aggressive.

Seems like an OEM hood will fix your problems
