All the more reason for Jason to create sub-forums for the different tunes. It would cut down on the petty squabbles by a huge amount...

And FWIW, I consider the JB2R a high end tune, obviously, for the power it's producing...

Heh I was just joking around with you. The main difference is going to be in boost levels IMHO. You need to know the boost and octane of each to get a good feeling. I'm also not sure how the Helix boost curve is setup. It could hold strong to redline, or could drop off at high rpm.

I prefer track times, or same day dynos. I've also come to the conclusion that autos are a lot faster in both 1/4 mile races and rolling races. |

You mean WalkedU? Yeah that was a lot of fun. I'm going to demod my car a bit to give these local V2 guys a chance. It's just not fair.

Are you going to the Sat, Jan 5th Street Legal Drags at Fontana? These are rare events in So Cal. We should go early as possible in the A.M. Hopefully some Procedes will come along. And it would be nice to have some Turbo Tuners do some runs also. Same day, same track. I went by there yesterday, and it was 75F at 5pm, hopefully it will be cooler in January.

It's really insane reading these forums. I mean seriously, if you don't step back and check reality, you'd think everyone was running a tune producing 375-400whp and that's just NOT the case! Most of the cars I run into are bone stock and have no idea what hit them. I don't know what it's like where you guys drive, but the only way I'm losing a race is to dedicated 2-seat sports car with way over 400whp. Other than the occasional new Vette or upper-end AMG/M-car, it's just not gonna happen. Of course there are Evos that will take you down low, but you're gonna pass them eventually! Obviously above 110mph it's going to be tough with the supercars, but I'm not doing that around here, and the torque of any tuned 335i is what gets you ahead below 100mph... The odds of running into something faster where I drive is just so low it's laughable. i'm a very happy camper with the car as it is right now.

I find this video very hard to believe.
The Helix car pulled on the PROcede 335 almost as hard as the 997 Turbo pulled on my PROcede 1.47. No way the Helix is making that much power! Go ahead and flame, but I'm calling this

like i said, looks just like that video when the exede walked the hell out of the 2.01 procede and it turned out that the exede car was rolling in a lower gear the way he just explodes outa there, more likely to be gear differences than piggyback... most races we see with two 335i's and different piggybacks, the first gear in the race is neck and neck, it isnt until they shift and hit a nice full gear that one car starts to pull...
