335 winter tires

I have a set of winter wheels and tires I purchased for my 2005 330 with the ZHP package (18" wheels). Tire Rack says this set up will not work on my 2008 E93 also with 18' wheels. The wheels for the 330 have an offset of 41mm, the recomended wheels for the 335 are offset between 30 and 35 mm. Can I use the 330 wheels on the 335 if I use 10mm spacers? Tire Rack would not say, I guess because of liability concerns. Thanks Ron
