E92 LCI front on pre-LCI?

Hi,

Does anybody know if the E92 LCI front bumper and headlights fits on a pre-LCI E92?

Thanks...

Should fit fine, but you'll need the LCI bumper, headlights, fenders, and hood. Then there's the problem of no one ever doing it before... you won't know if the LEDs work with the wiring available.

Oh... I was hoping that it could be done without hood and fenders from LCI.

Are you sure that the fenders aren't the same?

IMO E92 pre-LCI front looks way better than LCI front.

If I had an E92 LCI I would prefer to change the front to pre-LCI . . . But thanks to god that mine is pre-LCI !

The fenders are the same. The hood is slightly different, for the cut out of the grill. You would most likely need new fog light housings as well.

Nevermind. Just double checked. Fenders are the same, but you will still need a new hood to fit the larger headlights/grilles. Part number on the LCI and pre-LCI fenders are showing both 41357168987.

OP didn't ask for your opinion on how it looks. Stay on topic. Also, no one cares.

I'm sure it can be done, anything seems possible on this board. Just look at the dudes who go to LTBMW. If you give it enough time, there will definitely be an E92 pre to LCI conversion. And I, too, prefer the look of the pre-LCI front.

Easy boys....

Yea, I like my pre-LCI front as well I was just thinking of the Angel Eyes. I have tried a few different AE solutions but I don't think any of they were as good as the OEM LCI AE.

HID is too bright. People get blinded by them.
H8 LED is not bright enough to be used as driving light here.
M-Tech H8 halogen bulb is just too blue and looks cheap.

I know people say OSS is nice but I haven't seen it IRL since I live in Denmark. And I'm not sure if they are bright enough to qualify as driving light here.

The new AE on the E92 LCI's may as well pass as HID's lol, they are ridiculously bright.

Yea they are bright but the LED's are much more outlined. The HID's is blurry like this:

You prefer that look? I much rather would have the LED's and use them as more DRL's.. you have xenons that can be your actual headlights.

No, I hated the way my HID looked that's why I went for OEM (yellowish) AE. But I really want something like the LCI AE.

They have really nice LED alternatives for pre LCI, though. The MTEC are extremely clean looking and luminous, but are not intrusive.

Actually, they are DTEC. E90 is MTEC.

Ohh. PM Derrick @ E92-lighting (just search E92-lighting), he is a vendor (that's his site). He can definitely give you some options!
